Obsessive Detail Police: the new movie and science.

Ok so one of the biggest criticisms of the new Trek movie is the use of Black Holes for interstellar travel or travel through space-time. I am usually kind-hearted enough to assume that most Trek-science stems from the realm of theoretical possibility, but it was difficult to imagine this particular stretch of the imagination.
