Went a couple of months ago with a friend and had a good time. Recently got an email announcement that one of the hotels in Philadelphia is offering a Star Trek package including the ST exhibit. Now, why didn't the Las Vegas Hilton ever think of that? If they had, STTE might still be there....

I was there this past Tuesday. It was pretty neat. I enjoyed seeing the props and costumes. I even found a lot of the insight to the creation of the designs through the videos and writings. I also liked that they included props from the new movie and provided information on the Trek history both on and off camera.

I was a little disappointed that they did not allow photography. When the Star Wars Tour was there two years ago, you could take all the photos you wanted and even the alternate Star Trek Tour (I saw it in San Diego I think it is in Phoenix right now) allowed for all the photos you wanted. At the Franklin, they only had two souvenir photo opportunities, both were green screen photos (transporter and TOS Captain's Chair). We had the transporter photo taken as we entered but, the person running the Captain's Chair photo was too busy sitting on the chair, texting than inviting guests to have their photo taken. Never did get to see the photos either because the line was too long at the souvenir shop (only one terminal) and, although they provided a link, the site did not include photos from that location.

Overall a nice exhibit, if you're in the Philly area, I would recommend it.

Yes I was there today and I was quite impressed. They even have a few things from the new movie. Will be going back again.

Sadly, I am in Alabama right now. Does anybody have a listing of the other cities the two exhibits will visit?
