TREKSPACE

The social network for Star Trek Fans!

There are some quotes, mostly from TNG, which stay in my mind forever, I guess. I'm just wondering if there's anyone else who has these all-time favorite and lasting quotes...?!?
Mine are not that important for even the episode in which they occur, but I seriously love them to pieces....and they always come to my mind in any situation *smiles*.
My absolute fav is "It could be Pardek" by Sarek in "Unification I".
Second comes "I don't wanna be an officer anymore" spoken by one little boy who's with Picard in "Disaster".
Then I really luuv the quote "Guess, who's coming for dinner"....from "Star Trek - The Undiscovered Country". And of course, as a Data-fan I love the eps "Hero worship"....and the special quote: "I would gladly risk feeling bad - if that only meant that I could - taste - my desert".
What about you? Which quote is spinning in your mind?

"Brain and Brain! What is brain!" *accompanied by foot stamp from one of the lamer of the TOS eps, Spock's Brain. I occasionally do my impression of that line when I am seriously stressed and people just look at me sooooooo strangely. Mwa ha ha ha ha

OK, will try not to repeat anything already said,
Serious ones:
No on can deliver a line with the gravitas of Picard,
'Let us make sure that history never forgets the name, Enterprise' Yesterdays Enterprise
The tense confrontations in First Contact, when he tells Worf 'Get of my bridge', the tone he delivers it is one of a man not perpared to listen to reason, and then of course 'He piled upon the whales white hump the sum of all the rage and hate.....'

Dr Mc Coys funny moments are well covered but also , in the Voyaage home, himself and Spock have some great lines.
'You mean I have to die to discuss your insights on death!!!'
'Forgive me Doctor, I am recieving a number of distress calls.'
'I don't doubt it!'

Kirk,(hope I've got it right') 'I don't like mysteries, they give me a bellyache, and I've got a beauty right now'.
A bit obvious but 'Space the final frontier.....'

News Reporter: "..and now to Worf with the daily weather report. How is the weather today out there, Worf?"

Worf: "Today is good day to die"

I'm not sure where I heard it but one of my favs is "Never hit your Mother on the head with a shovel 'cos it leaves a dull impression on her mind". :o)

That's so familiar... I think it was Paul Newman in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid".

Oh dear, the one that always brings giggles to me no matter how many times I think of it was in the episode "I, Mudd"

Kirk: Can you please leave us?
Android Lady: Why should we leave you?
Kirk: Be...cause...we don't like you. Now *waves his hands* boopboopboopboop!

That entire episode was the most adorable out of the entire series, imo.

And then my favorite "I'm a doctor..." quote was from Friday's Child I believe.

McCoy: Help me Spock! I'm a doctor not an escalator!

McCoy went a bit overboard with that one!! x^DDD
