I'd probabably run a program aboard the Origional Enterprise. Seems like fun, no rules (well, not as strict), and there were many more places left to explore in the Alpha Quadrant (you didn't have to leave the quadrant to get a good thrill)
well if I were on earth, i would have one of being on the Enterprise D. then i would get inside the holodeck on the Enterprise, and so on, and so on...what a weird paradox LOL
Yeah, he tricks Picard and Data into thinking they are out of the Holideck when they still are in it. All this so Moriarty can escape....then Picard and Data do the same thing to him, and he thinks he is free, even though he is still a program stuck inside a box, likely sitting somewhere in Barclay's room.
I would probably go for either a historical program, or perhaps some kind of alien planet, or fantasy / comic book style, or something where I could meet some of the people I've always wanted to meet, both fictional and non-fictional.
the program I will have for my holodeck it will be either basketball in the gym or bowling in the alley or if i can maybe be a x-files wit me in it little twist in there
Beyond all the cool trips I'd take across the universe...I'd create a huge concert hall and jam with every musician I've ever wanted to play with. I'd jam with the Beatles at Shea Stadium! Jimi and the Who at Monterey...I'd get the neo-classical shred guitarists and hook 'em up with Paganini, just to see what would happen. Go anyplace. Go anywhere in history, sword fight...Play Lord of the Rings, Trek...EEK! Holodiction would set in.
The possibilities are endless...and most unprintable.
I used to role play Star Trek with the books and character sheets and whatnot, and my favorite campaign was holodeck based. Wherein, the characters would go into the holodeck, and when they were done, they'd leave, but the big question was: Did they ever really leave? Funnest campaign in the world. Too bad it didn't run very long.
I guess I'd like to run a Holodeck Simulation of each of the shows and just walk around in the non-interactive mode that Riker used in the last episode of Enterprise.
I'd just like to explore the ships, DS-9 and maybe even a Klingon Cruiser.
