I really love GALAXY QUEST and every time I need a pick-me-up I watch it. It's just plan fun. I can imagine myself in the position some of the charactors were put in regarding Star Trek.

The show that struck a little too close to home, for many. But we loved it.

I did not hear of this movie till my friend happened to watch it, then made me watch it, cause he said I am like the kid that cant possibly belive this stuff is just a TV show. LOL hes right, this movie rocked, and I agree I would watch every episode if they made a TV based from this movie.

i LOVE this movie, it makes fun of trek in a loving way yet stand on its own as a really good bit of sci-fi comedy plus...it has...ALAN RICKMAN in it..thats all one need to know i think lol...

I cant wait to buy New dvd "Galaxy Quest (Deluxe Edition)" Whoo. Long time ago I have Vhs give away. I become collect dvds lol.

I would love to see Galaxy Quest on TV! I keep saying that I can't get attached to one more TV show, and then I do, and I would get attached to GQ in a heartbeat.

I've seen the new Star Trek movie four times and just now occurred to me that it could have been an actual episode of Galaxy Quest if it wasn't called Star Trek! And with today's big screen TVs and High Definition video, Galaxy Quest would translate very nicely to weekly television just like Stargate did into Stargate SG-1. But not as a spoof of Star Trek fandom like the movie.
