A idea I had for a great fan film
How about a "Documentry" film like you would see on the history channel about the Dominion war. It would have "interviews" with different people who were in the Dominion war. Basicly it would have some footage from DS9 with the cool ship battles and some new footage done with photoshop.

Wicked. Most times when people propose ideas for stories and films that they don't then go ahead and write, it's usually pretty mediocre as just an idea. But yeah this sounds like it'd be fun.

I would think of it as for something fans who have created characters in fandom and their own fan fiction stories to have fun with.
Basicly have each interview with someone sitting in costume and makeup, telling a story about how they survived something like the siege of AR558, or how they as lets say if they were a romluan felt about joining forces with the Klingons.
The whole "Documentry" should last about 90 miniutes and end with "footage" of diffiernt groups watching the signing of the official surrender of the Dominion on screens across the Star Trek universe.
I have tons of ideas for this but I want to find people interested in makeing this happen.

who do we need to contact to write those stories about the other allies and their battles and points of view??? somebody somewhere needs to make this happen!

kind of like the Battles B.C. series or something.....that would be kool. Showing us Klingon and Romulan battles with the Dominion would be the best!!!! With tactics and in depth battle fronts history.

I've been in a Star Wars fanfilm one time but I agree it would be a lot of fun to get involved in something Trek. Unfortunately the chances of finding something like that where I live are slim to none!!
ps. I still think the above idea sounds quite awesome. Perhaps Michael can update us on whether it progresses into anything?
