I have hard or paperback copies of almost every Star Trek book ever published (over 450 to date), as well as many biographies, comics, and related science books. Most I've read, but am backlogged on VOY & DS9, and I'm still trying to catch up on new releases.

Hey, I've been around a few years, so I had the time to do it. Not too long ago I travelled a lot too, so many are autographed as well. I still don't pass up a good used-book store or yard/garage sale without checking for missing Trek items.

I'll post a picture of some of my library, with hand-built shelves, in my profile (look for the skull). They're even earthquake-proof, and all put together without one nail, screw, or any glue. Made from old scrap lumber 2x6's and spanning 15' (5M), the shelves hold over 1 ton of Science Fiction, including the Trek.

Lately I've taken to reading the eBooks, as they're easier to store, backlit, and I can change the font for these old eyes. Plus, once you're finished with one book in a series, you can just open the next without having to run home, or take a side trip to the library.

I've even been purchasing electronic copies of many of the older books. It helps when I have to re-read books related to new releases where I might not remember old plot lines or characters.

For those of you who hate clutter (not me), or just like a complete & thorough collection (definitely me!), which can all be stored in a single small chip, then eBooks are the way to go!

Example: I have over 3,000 books in a single 2GB stick, which fits easily into my cell phone (PocketPC, $10 from eBay). Fits in my hand, with a 4" screen, and is always with me anyway.

I have more work-related books on a single USB memory stick, which I can read on a laptop, or work computer. However, I am proudest of the Star Trek collection.

Current reading? Klingon Empire, and anything else by Keith R.A. Candido, naturally!!!

I have lots of star trek books but the stores are starting to run out. One of the main star trek books that I like is the continuation of when Khan was marooned on ceti alpha 5 with Marla. The name of the book is called to Reign in Hell. It is a fabulous book and wow I finally could piece together why khan truely wanted his revenge against kirk in the first place. I recommend that book.
