Commissions that go directly into your paypal accounts from your business that a store-owner can go online to transfer electronically from their paypal account to the store-owner's personal bank account.

Set up online stores from larger companies (in example zazzle.com, redbubble.com, logosoftwear.com, etc.) & I'd help by designing them a few "png" files (cropped against transparent backgrounds,) to put on any color backgrounds on t-shirts, keychains to help you get back on your feet again. There are two groups that I know of here in Alabama that are helping in the Sandy crisis.    One is:  Rebuild Tuscaloosa   https://www.facebook.com/rebuildtuscaloosa?ref=ts&fref=ts

The other is:  Toomers for Tuscaloosa:  https://www.facebook.com/toomersfortuscaloosa?ref=ts&fref=ts     Both of these groups are helping out, if there are "Specific needs"  all people have to do is contact the groups and somehow the Volunteers find ways to get relief , help etc... To people affected by Storms...  T'Moya

Matthew: a number of pharmacies, and all hospitals, were on the high-priority restoration list. I am very active in the diabetes online community, and of that group (mostly people with type 1 diabetes), all have reported in safe, sound, and with sufficient insulin supply. Of course, many people with type 2 diabetes are both of lower income and not dependent on insulin injections or pumps. The big issue right now is people who don't have heat or power, who are trying to keep warm with candles or pots of water boiling on the stove, who may be subject to hypothermia, carbon monoxide poisoning, or fire hazards.

welcome to the New York version of Katrina. once again, we find out that government entities like FEMA refuse to do what they were set up for. just yesterday (Wednesday), when it began to start with a light drizzle, FEMA actually decided it was better to just up & leave instead of doing what they were sent to do.

My prayers are continuing to go up for those struck by the storm... and my heart aches for those in true mortal danger due to the slow action of relief agencies...  I worry how many diabetics are dead... or seriously injured due to lack of insulin... and any other medical issues... yet little to nothing has been done... to help them.. it's appalling... if this is the presidents version of assistance posthaste and before the lights go out (as according to his speech) then i worry what his response to a nuclear attack might be...

Yesterday, I joined with a few others to take needed supplies to Staten Island. I couldn't believe the total lack of help & support these people were or had gotten since the storm hit. I was shown around parts of the area that were hardest hit & it reminded me of what I saw at the WTC but on much bigger scale. whole neighborhoods gone. This is the NY version of Katrina. and to make it worse, we got hit with 3-6 inches of snow which makes those affected situations worse. They need help NOW - in the time I spent there, I saw not one single person from FEMA,RED CROSS or even SALVATION ARMY. And that pisses me off bigtime.
