Here is the official teaser trailer for the independent web series STAR TREK: THE EARLY YEARS. The trailer was created by series lead visual effects artist Emil Karlsson.
Welcome to the Official TREKSACE Group Page for the independently produced non-profit web series STAR TREK: THE EARLY YEARS based on Gene Roddenberry's first Star Trek pilot "The Cage" and the new STAR TREK film by J.J. Abrams.
In the STAR TREK: THE EARLY YEARS movie timeline history, there was an Enterprise before the new model Enterprise in the movie. The “original” Enterprise was commanded first by Robert April and then by Christopher Pike until that Enterprise was decommissioned and replaced with the new Enterprise. Pike was the new Enterprise’s commander until a promotion to Admiral allowed him to be relieved by Kirk as commander of the new Enterprise.
STAR TREK: THE EARLY YEARS chronicles the early missions of the movie Captain Pike and his first crew aboard the original USS ENTERPRISE. The series starts in 2250 eight years before the events seen in the new movie. The Enterprise crew will be the same characters that were in the original pilot "The Cage" but they will be adapted to the new movie timeline.
In this history, Pike and his crew were not extensively affected by Nero’s attack on the Kelvin in 2233, and the events of Captain Pike and Rigel VII and Talos IV remain pretty much the same in this timeline.
Please join the STAR TREK: THE EARLY YEARS Group and read our blogs for updates.
We are also looking for volunteers in all aspects of production (directors, editors, writers, actors, extras, tech crew, set builders, costumers, make-up, etc.) to help with the series. You can contact us through Trek Space mail.

Is there any way the group moderators can form a united front and bring the issue to Mr. Peters that you want something done about it now rather than later? At the
very least you should demand the right to delete or block any spammer yourselves whenever necessary. It sounds suspicious that Peters hasn't yet taken any action when its become clear that this is no isolated act by someone. By delaying or refusing to prevent these deliberately disruptive activities the only person who loses here in the end will be him because more and more people will leave.
I along with several other members have sent Alec Peters several emails about this spammer, but he is obviously not in any hurry to deal with it. Only Peters and administrators of Trekspace can delete this user. If it was within my power as a group creator, he would have been gone weeks ago.
I suggest everyone send Peters an email demanding that he ban this spammer. We've already lost three people from this group because of him or it.
I'm guessing you mentioned group creators not being able to delete members to Alec and he said no? Sounds like Jen and Gene were very helpful. Can anybody help him out? I'd offer my services! Btw, I called singlesnet and complained directly to them about this person. They have an area for spam alerts and I gave them his name. Either he is a member or maybe he even works there. Sorry for taking up space on the wall for this!
Several people have sent message to Alec Peters about this person. Alec can get him off Trekspace. The problem is Alec has no help with the site anymore since Jen and Gene quit. I wish group creators could delete members then I'd get rid of him from this group.
I blocked the guy, Johnathon Green, but his spam is still getting through. I also sent a complaint to Alec Peters but I'm not sure what trekspace or he can do about it.
There is no need to "unsubscribe", unless you plan to unsubscribe from every group and every function on Trekspace. There are several things you can do. You can block this person for one, but I have sent a note to Alec Peters and hopefully he'll be banned.
It's not just this group. I have received this same spam through 2 or 3 other groups as well.
Looks like the spammers have found Trekspace.

When I was in 8th grade, I tried applying the word 'aye' to every day life. Low and behold, my principal got a kit our of this, and I received several well deserved laughs to my face. Oh how we learn and grow, lol.
