Hi, I'm good thanks and you? No problem about not writing sooner, I know life gets busy sometimes. I go for days sometimes without logging into my computer at all.I don't have plans for Halloween as we don't really celebrate it here - some people do to a certain degree but nowhere near as much as in the States. It's a shame because I like the idea of Halloween as I love horror movies and the like. It would also be a fantastic excuse to dress Trek :-) One year ages ago I had a Halloween party and dressed up like a vampire with fangs and long black wig. Nowadays, I'd go vulcan. You've got quite a collection of Trek costumes by the sounds of it! I'd love to get some Trek t-shirts etc but I think I'd have to order them online as there aren't many shops here in Brisbane that would stock a great range. There are a few comic/collector shops but they mainly have action figures and model kits etc. I think Amazon would be the place to order from - I've gotten some CD's and DVD's from there before. I ordered a second hand copy of Brent Spiner's CD Ol Yellow Eyes is Back through one of the Amazon stores and it arrived in perfect condition. I also got his newer CD Dreamland through his website and got it autographed.
It'll be great to see your photos from the convention once you get them uploaded. You lucky thing getting to meet them all! I'm so curious, what were Brent Spiner and Leonard Nimoy like in person? I would have to spend mega bucks to get to a convention like that as I'd first be up for the airfare and it's a long flight :-( I haven't been to any sci-fi conventions here in Australia. I don't think any of my friends would really want to go. I just have to make do with Trekspace (glad I found it!) and the few of my friends who do like Trek, but even then there's a limit to how much they want to talk about it :-)
I'm watching DS9 on DVD at the moment, I'm up to season 2. So far, it's taking me a little while to get into it, mainly because it's so different to TNG and TOS being set on a space station. Have you seen it, if so, what did you think of it?
Until next time, live long and prosper!
It's great for me being able to chat with other Trek fans, I don't know many people that are into it. I bought myself TNG the entire seven seasons, then I bought TOS all 3 seasons and the movie collection. I have DS9 and Voyager to watch next. I'm really looking forward to seeing the new movie again, when I went to see it I hadn't watched TOS yet (I'm a TNG fan from way back).
