Inheritors of the Wind and Ice, you may think you know Andorians; everyone thinks they know - Mr. Spock, the reporters, comedians, your mom - but once you really know, you're on our side. Here is a place for you to learn or speak of what you know.

About Me:
I am a long-time Star Trek fan, having started watching the original series in it's first days of re-runs with my father; that was our "family time" thing to do. I love all forms of sci-fi, but have always enjoyed the ST series that followed after TOS, most particularly DS-9, for it's depth of characterization right from the beginning. I run all forms of tabletop role-playing games, and have once again begun a new Star Trek game, using a mix of Icon, LUG and FASA elements to start the players in the Enterprise era, eventually to work their way through the chronological range of the various series with select lineages of their characters.

Say 'Hello' to my little friend.

Probe Ready... Launch!

We have taken some time to work on some of the equipment for our ship, and just today sent the Firebird Probe (a geocaching travel-bug for our 577th MSG unit) on it's merry way. It is in the hands of a fellow who is from - and will be heading back to - Munich, Germany. He has promised that if it seems stuck anywhere around there, he will shift it to another location so it will be picked up.

For those who are interested, you can keep an eye on it's travels here:

Computer, what is the current stardate?

Things have been going by so fast I haven't even had time to do supplemental log entries. I'm heading up a series of college courses through SFA (College of Communications), working with my crew and the ASDB and DTS on a new project that should prove to be something that will have a lot of discussion opened up once it's released, and continuing my responsibilities as the captain of the USS Aurora as we continue our primary mission to explore, discover and catalog all the new and wondrous things… Continue

We have new content, and a new look for the Aurora's Signal newsletter. For those interested, check it out. And if you like what you see, let Purrzah know that she's done another fine job. =:)

Just An Update in the Personal Logs

I've been working on fixing the captain's yacht myself, and while I'm not a mechanic I have learned a few things over the years that helps. One thing I did not know is that engineers love to put little (perminent) reminders for themselves in hidden places on a vehicle. I had to change the plugs, cables and points of the yacht, and managed to stumble upon a little metal tag on the inside of the hood that had the firing order engraved into it. So today, the yacht should start up and be operational… Continue

Where's Scotty When You Need Him?

Lately, both me and the missus have had some problems with computers. For me, it's been the fan going out for my chip, so my system was overheating quickly and would go wonky just before shutting down very suddenly. Luckily that's the only problem I was having. A bit of cleaning and replacing a couple of bad connectors, and things are working right again.

The wife, however, had to have her whole system resurrected in a new machine. The power was suddenly shut down for a couple of days and not e… Continue

Aha - the plot thickens !! I am actually in New Zealand, not Australia - and you would be made very welcome at any of our regional events, musters or summits! We usually hold these in Oz, because that is where the majority of our members are from and it is easier to get the most people together that way. So far all have been in Adelaide in South Australia, and that is a long way to travel - even for me - 5 hours flying time...
