I might point out, in the movie (The Voyage Home) - it was a Klingon ship that Kirk stole and went back in time to grab the whales, Not the Enterprise - although the Enterprise has done a few sling shots around the sun in it's time.

- My name is Shauna and I am married to a wonderful man. In fact, he is the one who introduced me to Star Trek..and many dollars later I have OS, Voyager, and DS9 on Video; the OS uniforms; working on the patterns to TNG uniforms; and on my way to a convention!
DS9 is my absolute favorite series. I love to needlepoint, too and I am about to start working on a HUGE needlepoint of Deep Space Nine on black canvas. I am so excited about it, I can hardly wait. I have to finish a birthday present (Bette Davis) for my cousin, then I get to start! My favorite character is Major (Now Colonel) Kira Nerys.
My 2nd favorite series is Voyager. On that series, my favorite character is (ta-da) Seven of Nine (Annika).
As you can tell, I admire and love strong, female characters. Like Ro Laren in The Next Generation...she is totally awesome! In fact, when we have children, I want to name them: Tora Nerys, Kira Ziyal, Laren Elizabeth, and Shannarah Meru. (I just love the name Shannarah...ever since I heard the family tree of Lady Martok (it was "supposedly" Lady Martok's great-great grandmother...not to mention Col. Kira's Mother's name is "Meru" which I love).
I like to needlepoint and sew. I love to garden (I am working on a DS9 shaped flower-bed---is that fanatical or what? *LOL*).

Reflections on my 6th Anniversary with Capt. John McKinley Phillips

Weak Week
I am so glad that my mother is back! Taking care of two households was getting so tiresome, that I thought I was going to die! 5 cats, 1 dog, 1 parakeet of my own along with Mom's cat, dog, plants, cleaning, and errands (along with mine). *sigh* I thought I was going to die!

Trials and Uniformity...argh!
Well, the good news is that I finished cross-stitching a rather intricate picture of Bette Davis for my cousin, so now I can start on the 38-page Deep Space Nine design!
Here's the bad news....just to update you on Major Kira's uniform that I am making for next year's convention...can anyone say "pulling my hair out tuft by tuft!??!" Okay, I got microsuede for the arm sleeves of the uniform from Denver Fabrics...okay that is decent enough, but it is the body suit that is giving me absolute FITS… Continue

Father's Day to Remember!!!!
Well, I just got back from my father's house in Mississippi and we had such a blast. I didn't even know that we had a wonderful little coffee shop called the "Gathering Place" in my hometown. It was so great! It is ran by a church, believe it or not. They transformed an old rustic restaurant into a meeting place, game room, coffee shop, book exchange, and sanctuary. Yay! My packages came in!
I am so excited! Today in the mail came my long awaited Bajoran earring and nose ridge, along with the pattern for my Bajoran military uniform! I am so excited, I just can't wait. I will take pictures when I have made the uniform!
