Glad you finally got it. It took a good long while, but I did eventually get the gold some time back, so now I have all three. :-)
I had thought about getting the long-sleeved costume for Halloween but went with a "First Contact" uniform instead,...
My favorite scene always was the introduction of the refit Enterprise. Sometimes I just pop the DVD in just to watch that. It's hard to remember after all these years that that moment was the first time we ever saw any new Star Trek ship. Ever. Pa...
What a smart thing to do with user names. I should go suggest it on WoWs forum. They most likely won't do it but yeash never hurts to say something.
Urg! I know what you mean about names. They can be tricky. Now that I think about it I don't know...
Well: I just found out that STO will be for PCs and not for MACs, so what the story with that I HAVE A MAC that is not fair. need more info on this, please let it not be true.
The beauty of their naming system is the fact that you can pick a name that someone else already has; the distinction is in your account name rather than your handle. One player could be known as "USS John Doe @ oneaccount.com" while another playe...
Agreed. I have several friends who are also going to be getting the game (only one is also with us on Trekspace) and we've been playing around with the idea of creating kind of like a fleet of our own simply because we'd be working together. This ...
Well Then I guess I'll see yeah in the game. I'll probably Try and get the Name Nephila or Neph for my avatars, hopefully someone doesn't yoink it before I do. We'll all have to say what server we're on too when the time comes. I like the inventin...
I too am guilty of playing around a lot with CoH's character creator...mostly to try to recreate well-known and classic characters to see how close it can get. (Never actually played them tho...that would be "illegal"...) :-)
Currently there are ...
I played City of Heroes/Villains. I LOVED there character creator on that game. The variety was probably the best thing about it. Then again it was also the worst thing. I spent so much time make character and not actually playing the game it was ...
I don't play WoW myself but do play "City of Heroes," which was also created by STO's Cryptic Studios. Sounds like operating the ship in combat wouldn't be too different from a two-legged avatar with "weapons" instead of "powers"... with the excep...

Gasp! Star Trek MMO! Oooo it might finally be able to get me away from Wow. Though, I doubt it. I'm pretty much hooked on that game. I'll have to buy it though to give it a better look and reserve judgment until then. I looked it up on youtube and...
Two of the ships I saw look like uber upgraded variants of the Sovereign and Intrepid Classes.
I'm sure they look much better "in motion" than as stills, so I really haven't much thought into which ship I would want yet.
Since I will end up soloing most of the time (unfortunately I wouldn't have twelve hours of constant play time to commit to a team very often!) I would probably try to "round out" the entire ship to handle just about any kind of mission. The Enter...
I've been a Star Trek fan as long as I can remember. I am also interested in videography/filmmaking with limited experience and have ideas I want to get off the ground, including a Trek-based fan film. Success depends on gathering the necessary resources locally, including people! Finding volunteers to act on-camera is easy enough--it's harder finding those willing to devote time and energy behind the scenes!

Hello and good night, dear Crew of the starship Valiant!
So cool, Bob, that you have a Baltimore uncle who was USAF AND drove a Valiant! And that your life is inseperably linked to the cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde. It is a very small world and a ...
