As for the museum, itself, I can only hope that they will work it out so that they can have a wheelchair accessible entrance to the museum . . . at least, at some point.
My brother just emailed this photo to me -- it is a model of the Enterprise displayed at San Diego's ComicCon. I asked him who owns this, and he said that he heard that one was supposedly given to J.J. Abrams, and the other belongs to The FX Compa...
I am also quite stunned by Lesley's/Casey's passing. I never met her face-to-face, but had a couple of email exchanges with her. Could tell that she was having a rough time, and now I feel really guilty for not talking with her more than I did. I ...
Dwight Schultz?!!
Wow!! I really like him, both as "Reginald Barclay" and as "H. M. Murdock"!! Sure would have loved the chance to meet him, *Sigh*. Did you have the chance to speak with him?
You have had conventions at The Thistle before? Cool! Is there a website with information about the previous conventions?
*Whew* I can well imagine that the costs would be painful . . .
That's great that you and Janet have the means to organize and put on this convention, Bob! I have some idea of what's involved in doing a small science fiction convention, actually (long story), so I admire you two for being willing to do it. The...
Just wanted to let you folks know that I told my husband about the upcoming Constellation 2010, and he is interested! Yay!
So, I am looking forward to coming and meeting as many of you folks as is possible!
Hi, folks!
Caitlin -- thanks for the invites, but I am still around. It's just that the group has been so incredibly busy that I got way behind. Plus, I have had some health problems and will have to go into the hospital for surgery next month (n...
I am an American married to a Scot and living in Glasgow. I am originally from North Carolina; born in Greensboro and was living in Chapel Hill (a fan of the UNC-Chapel Hill Tar Heels for 40 years) before moving to Scotland. My husband and I are both Star Trek fans. I have been a fan since TOS, which my family watched on tv faithfully back in the '60's. We have TOS, TNG, Voyager, and all the movies (except #5) on dvd.
It is my sad Duty to inform you that your Trekspace Friend, Casey (Lesley Richardson) passed away suddenly this morning.,
Lesley may be known to you as a member of the Away Team and Contagion Committees. They were responsible for bringing Star Trek Conventions to Scotland.
Hi Judy! I could tell by your pictures that Inca definitely gets to travel! He looks like he really loves it :D
Loch Lomond really sounds familiar - I am wondering if I did get to go there... I know I got to see Loch Ness and the castle (I did not see the monster - yet), and Inverary Castle & jail museum, Cawdor Castle & gardens, Edinburgh Castle, Glasgow City... I got to travel around quite a bit by train. I stayed in a small town called Fortrose near Inverness. I was right down the road from the Rosemarkie Lighthouse, which I would walk to almost every evening and watch the dolphins play in the water - those are some of the fondest memories of my life.
I bet the weather there is great right now, and the hills are so green. I hope you and your husband and Inca are enjoying it, and get to travel some more! I really love all your pictures!
Hi, Judy!
American--yes! But I fell over a heap of wacky spacers telling lies and drinking bloodwine and asked for a nip--and snuck on board when everyone was looking! What a wonderful and wacky crew. I am proud to uh.... whatever:-)
I've never been to Scotland, but suspect it would feel very right. My father's family is native to --I think tI got this right--a town called Lomas. They tell me I'd find a raft of folks with my nose there....
Seriously, your photos are beautiful!
Thanks for the friendship Mrs. Judy! Your pictures are absolutely breathtaking - I went to Scotland as an exchange student for 6 wks one summer... what an amazing experience!

I know that this is a discussion about Trek, but in one of my favorite episodes of Babylon 5, the various races on the station held ceremonies to show their world's dominant religion. When it came time to show Earth's belief, Commander Sinclair to...
