I started watching TNG and DS9 during my childhood and soon became obsessed with Star Trek in general. Although my introduction to Trek was the modern shows I also love the original series and even Enterprise. I can't hate or dislike any version of Trek. I am an avid collector and recently started blogging about Trek at my site The Nostalgia Factory. I don't collect to resell or make a profit from it. I simply do it because I love Trek and its a lot of fun to have the items and use them in my photography and talk about them on my blog. That's why I open them up. Its just a hobby for me. Thanks for your comments.

At 6:42am on December 11, 2009, Captain Scott (Retired) said…: Great collection dude but believe or not one day it will loose its luster. i have been collecting since 1966 and I have stuff that has not been seen or made in 35+ years yet what do I do with it. I could sell it but that defeats the reason why I collected it.
If you can when buy for your collection buy two then down the road you have something to sell but back in 66 money was tight and I never thought to buy two.
