If and when Paramount wants to reboot Star Trek: The Next Generation as a new Star Trek TV series they already have a very good ready-made blueprint to follow in Galaxy Quest. By staying in the altered timeline from Star trek 11, a new Enterprise ...
I remember "Jason of Star Command". It was part of the deluge of sci-fi shows that flooded network television in the wake of the "Star Wars" phenomenon in the late seventies. It actually was a spin-off of "Space Academy" a live-action sci-fi child...
I hear ya! Obamacare is a disaster to come by any measurement. I'm disabled myself so I have a clear idea what's at stake if this monstrosity is passed by the Senate. The only way to save ourselves is to contact and make it crystal clear to your S...
I've always loved the rugged, used look of the Star Wars Universe. The ships look battered and worn and far more realistic than anything in Star Trek where everything looks so pristine. The closest Star Trek ever came to anything like
it was the d...
A new Star Trek: The Experience based on the new movie would really be rolling the dice even in Las Vegas. It would alienate too many Star Trek loyalists to the original timeline. But a section dedicated to alternate universes that included not ju...
Hi. That's what I meant by a total redesign. The original Viper design is closer to the equivalent of a World War II P-51 Mustang in terms of sheer firepower. The Colonial Fleet should already have in inventory, or at least on the drawing board, a...
Wow! This preview is getting me excited about the movie all over again! And they've got to release a Director's Cut! Those outtakes are too good to leave out!
I definitely plan to buy the DVD because my DVD player automatically uprates it
to high definition on my big screen. That way I can get the DVD set with all the
extras and outtakes or the Director's Cut if there is one. Hopefully we can then
discu...
The past always looks simpler when you look back at it from afar. You understand so much more today than you did back then because we'll all grown wiser over the years. And morality plays never goes out of fashion.True the world is a complicated p...
When Star Trek was moved to that Friday night, 10 PM timeslot in its 3rd season a lot of Trek fans believed NBC was deliberately trying to finish it off once and for all. What they forget is that "The Man From Uncle" -- my 2nd favorite TV show aft...
I predict that the GOP will pick up between 35 to 45 seats in the 2010 elections.
Anything over 40 would give the GOP control of the House. In the Senate we need only 5 seats to restore the filibuster despite McCain and any other RINOS
(Republican...
Hi, I'm a sci-fi fan in general, but a StarTrek fan in particular ever since it went on the air in 1966 when I was only 13 years old. So I'm an old timer but up to speed with anyone about Trek. My favorite series is the original series which, in my humble opinion, is the only true Star Trek. The others are , well, sequels. Musicwise I'm a huge Beatles fan, and I love New Age music including Enya, Mannheim Steamroller, and Mike Oldfield. I also love Star Wars and I'm a big fan of Babylon 5, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis,Farscape and James Bond. I'm also a big fan of the current Battlestar Galactica series from which I hope the people behind the new Trek movie learned a thing or two.

Hello and good night, dear Crew of the starship Valiant!
So cool, Bob, that you have a Baltimore uncle who was USAF AND drove a Valiant! And that your life is inseperably linked to the cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde. It is a very small world and a ...
