and the best part is I was in Babaenhausen, about 20 miles south of Frankfurt.
I headed the opfor group for the 41st Field Artillery Bde and we used tlhingon Hol like the WWII wind talker used Cherokee since we had to use standard Bde Freqs.

I just now got around to seeing a comment you left at Liteature Lovers back in July, and wanted to say that I agree: ebooks are great. I used to read with a mechanical page turner that would only work for about 20 pages at a time, then I'd have to swear at it until it started up again. Now I average about an ebook a week! I even changed my Playboy subscribtion from hardcopy (no pun intended) to e-version, so now I can actually read the articles! I sort of feel like I'm on TOS, reading off of one of those little monitors. Glad to know that other people enjoy high-tech reading, too! Mike out.
