Favourite TNG episode ever...
My fave TNG episode/s would be the two parter - Descent (being a big Data/Lore fan), I also love Best of Both Worlds with the Borg.

- I love Star Trek TOS and TNG. My favourite characters are Spock, Sarek and Bones. As for TNG - Data, Lore, Picard and Q (plus the Borg and the Romulans are my favourite "baddies").
I first started watching TNG when it aired here in the 90's and got right into the story lines and characters. At that stage, I hadn't seen much of TOS - only the odd replay on late night TV. I've adored TNG for ages and recently bought the whole series on DVD and rewatched it along with all the movies from start to finish. My fascination with Data was reignited. Then I went along to see the new movie and my interest was sparked to watch the original series - after all, if I loved TNG so much, surely I would love TOS? Correct! I adore it, it was so ahead of it's time, the story lines are fantastic and the characters work so well together. My new fascination is with Spock. I've yet to watch DS9 and Voyager, but I have them on hand.
Now a bit of general info - I'm an Australian (European heritage) single woman and I work in administration. I like alternative music, sci fi, horror and comedy.
Likes:
Open minds, horror movies, the colours green and purple, cats, Ganesh, wine and Southern Comfort, storms, the midnight hour, chocolate, Indian food, alone time, listening to my music, travelling, coffee, silver jewelery, lavender, being with my friends.
Dislikes:
Narrow minded people, people that pick on those they consider "weaker", homophobes, bullies, rap music, Top 40 music, chick flicks, football - just about any sport in general really, dishonesty/liars, beer, "reality" tv shows.
Movies - far too many to list here...
Shows - Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, The X-Files, The Mighty Boosh, Dexter, Six Feet Under, Dead Like Me, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Twin Peaks, True Blood.
Music - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Grinderman, Voltaire, The Cramps, Siouxsie & the Banshees, The Creatures, Wall of Voodoo, Andy Prieboy, Garbage, Sisters of Mercy, The Ramones, Kiss, Nine Inch Nails, Green Day, The Doors, Bauhaus, Love & Rockets, The Cure, The Damned, Nina Hagen, David Bowie, Alien Sex Fiend, Violent Femmes, Johnny Cash, 70's and 80's, and also the odd bit of metal...
Books - Trek TOS and TNG adaptations, The Necroscope Series by Brian Lumley, The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice plus anything by Poppy Z Brite, Nancy Collins, Stephen King and Clive Barker.

You are watching DS9 at first time?
Well, I want not to spoiler, but you will be suprised. The first, second and thrid seasons are interesting but not great. But, since fourth season you will be impressed, i think. For meis TNG best, but DS9 is the best, if I am disinterested. I am watching ENT almost every day (for first time) and I don´t like this serie yet.
