- I'm one of the "Old Guard" Trekkers. I grew up watching Trek from the early 1960's until the last series which was Enterprise, and loved them all! I'm also into running/race walking, reading, writing ( for Trek & other genres ), jazz, weight training, photography, I LOVE KLINGONS and pirates!.
Other Sci-Fi shows I love are Babylon 5 Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, and ANDROMEDA.
The closest I come to becoming a Klingon was in 2002 at Shore Leave (Towson, Maryland) I sat for an artist to sketch me as a Klingon in full battle dress, carrying a bat'leth. She took the sketch home and added the colors, and end result is pictured on the left hand corner of this page. It's also part of my photo album. I think she did an excellent job!
I've recently discovered the joy of blogging and I'm currently writing a Klingon blog on this site. It is a work of fiction, written "in Klingon character" and in sequences. Please feel free to read, enjoy and comment.

I know I was supposed to make all kinds of decisions, but the only one I made was to unpack my weekender and crash. All that traveling had finally gotten to me.
I woke up later that afternoon, walked into the living room and found a stack of flattened boxes. Tazma had gone to the neighborhood storage place and got boxes. How sweet! All of a sudden Z started chuckling.
“What the heck is so funny?” I asked as I poked him in the ribs. He continued laughing.
“Did you really think this was going to stay a secret?” he asked, as he bent to place Tink in her carrier.

My eyes flew open at 3:15am. How did I know? I pressed the button and looked at my digital watch that I always wear, on my right arm, face inside so I don't bust the crystal.

Sunday - Convention Day 2 #133
I woke up at 8:43 am and found my husband ( I'm getting the feel of saying that now, I think ) was still fast asleep. Which was not surprising because the two of us didn't hit the sack until about 3am. No, it wasn't the parties. . . . . .
