- Hello my name is Aric Johnson, I am Captain of the USS Gene Roddenberry NFC-9109-A. The USS Gene Roddenberry NFC-9109-A is the official Los Angeles area chapter of the International Federation of Trekkers (IFT).
This is a Star Trek fan club dedicated to the idea of living the positive dream vision of the future created by the club's name sake and Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry.
We would like to invite anyone who has an interest in Star Trek or science fiction in general to be a part of our club. Below are just some of the activities our members participate in, we'd love to have you join us in all the fun.

My name is Aric Johnson I am Captain of the USS Gene Roddenberry. Recently I was lucky enough to attend the Star Trek Convention in Vegas. Before I went there I was contacted by Matt Green who works for a major British Television show. It seems that they are looking to produce a Star Trek documentary and they are coming out to LA to shoot. They need Star Trek fans to participate in this show to make it great.
