It's true Roddenberry was probably best described as a secular humanist, it doesn't mean Star Trek was devoid of spirituality. That theme was definately explored in Star Trek. Even though the Klingons never said Kahless was a god they had a religi...

Although not Cannon, in the Mr. Scott's guide to the Enterprise book , there's a mention of a chapel and a Chaplain. They don't say what religion it represents. Also, I don't recall that being explored in the Star Trek novels. As far as Sci Fi att...

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I'll pray for him. You said a lot of good things also. We need to not have our eyes on ourselves so much, but on others. Take care and God bless.

I watched it last night. Pretty good. I don't think they accomplished what they wanted in a one hour episode. It might have been better if they did a 90 minute or better yet a miniseries. The show has a great cast from other sci fi notables. I lik...

About Me:
I've been a Star Trek fan since I saw the reruns of TOS back in the 70s on a black & white tv. Probably out all the sci fi that I like, Star Trek is my favorite. Sometimes when I mean to say Star Wars, I say Star Trek. It's always on the brain. Although DS9 is probably my favorite, I have great love for all the Star Trek incarnations. Worf & Spock are probably my favorite characters. I'm Son of Worf on some of the Star Trek fan film forums. In fact, one of my dreams is to be in a Star Trek fan film. As a character or extra, I don't care. I live in merry old amish country in Lancaster PA. I've been married for ten years. I'm a committed Christian. I recently was laid off my job of thirteen years. I'm in school right now taking an accelerated program on HVAC at Harrisburg Area Community College.
I also do a weekly sci fi pod cast with a friend called the Sci Fi Diner. I love it if you would check it out. Here's the link. Live long and prosper!

Dayton & Kevin are two great guys. They often make the conventions. I'd encourage you to say hi & talk w/ them. Mary , besides being beautiful, is an aspiring actress & great pod cast host. She knows her stuff on tv & movie culture. She's also a die hard trekkie.… Continue

Interview w/ Mike Struck of NEO FX. PT 1. CGI contributor for Starship Farragut.

In our last show we have part 1 of an interview with Mike Struck from NEO FX. His company does the CGI work for Starship Farragut. Also, he contributed to some of the CGI of the Star Trek independant film; Of Gods and Men. It's a very intersting interview about Star Trek and the CGI business. In part 2 we'll be talking about his work in doing the animated episode for Star Ship Farragut. I hope you enjoy.

You are already on my list. Can you try to respond to the test message in your inbox. I also tried to post a blog and preview it without any issues. We will get to the bottom of this. Are you able to send messages to anyone else or do you get an error with that too?

LOL, that is definitely the million dollar queation. Actually we'll probably wait until October when the Trek DVD is supposed to be released and see what Abrams' Klingons look like before we film any Klingon scenes. Our first episode also introduces viewers to the principal characters, so there is plenty to shoot while we wait. Course, if the Abrams' Klingons are reveal before October, then all the better.
